The AirTAC Airtac ASP Single Acting Guided Compact Cylinder ASP20X25SB is a single acting, push (spring return) DIN-standard tight/compact air cylinder with a Ø20mm bore and 25mm stroke, M5×0.8 air ports and a hard-anodized aluminium body. This model is discontinued — the current-production replacement is the ASE20X25SB (ISO 21287 ACE), in the same bore, stroke and force class.
A single acting push cylinder with spring return, the discontinued ASP20X25SB extends its 10 mm rod on air and retracts on the spring, needing only one air line and a minimum of 0.2 MPa to beat the spring. At 0.5 MPa it pushes 127.4 N net of the spring (190.2 N at 0.7 MPa), and the short ISO 21287-class body saves roughly 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, so it slots into tight jigs and guards. The male rod thread (B code) and the fitted -S magnet for CMSE / DMSE switches are built into this code.
For sizing, treat about 76 N (0.6 of the 0.5 MPa push) as the usable working force, which lifts roughly 6 kg vertically with a 2:1 margin. The hard-anodized aluminium body carries a fixed TPU bumper at both ends, the rod is S45C hard chrome, and speed runs 50-500 mm/s at 0.2-1.0 MPa (28-145 psi). Since the ASP is discontinued, order the ASE20X25 as the current drop-in and confirm the ISO 21287 mounting dimensions before swapping.

The male rod thread pairs with I/Y knuckles, and FA/FB flange, LB foot or CA/CB clevis mounts bolt to the same face. For new projects, specify the ASE20X25 replacement.
