About the Airtac ASP Single Acting Guided Compact Cylinder ASP32X15S
A single acting push cylinder with spring return, the ASP32X15S extends its 12 mm rod with air and retracts it by spring, needing only one air line to run. At the 32 mm bore it delivers 352.5 N of push at 0.5 MPa (513.4 N at 0.7 MPa), already net of the spring, and it starts moving from just 0.2 MPa. The 15 mm stroke suits short clamp-and-release motions in tight fixtures where a full-length body would never fit.
The short ISO 21287-class body saves roughly 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, so it drops into compact jigs and guarding. Because the S code is in this model, the optional -S magnet is fitted, so CMSE or DMSE switches can report end positions. In practice, plan on about 210 N of usable push at 0.5 MPa, which lifts roughly 10 kg vertically with a 2:1 margin. Note: this model is discontinued; the current-production replacement is ASE32X15.
