About the Airtac ATE Single Acting Guided Compact Cylinder ATE32X25S
A single acting pull cylinder built to ISO 21287, the ATE32X25S keeps its rod extended by spring and retracts it with air pressure. At 0.5 MPa the net pull is 296 N (434.2 N at 0.7 MPa, spring already deducted), enough for clamping gates, ejecting small parts or releasing a latch in a compact machine. The 32 mm bore needs at least 0.2 MPa before the air can beat the spring.
The short ISO 21287 body saves about 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, so it slots into tight jigs and guarding where a full-length body will not fit.
