About the Airtac ATP Single Acting Port Compact Cylinder ATP100X10
A single acting pull cylinder with spring return, the ATP100X10 keeps its 25 mm rod extended by spring and retracts it with air. At 0.5 MPa it delivers a net pull of 3395.3 N (4867.9 N at 0.7 MPa), so it suits short-stroke clamping and holding jobs that need real force from a 100 mm bore. Minimum working pressure is 0.2 MPa (28-145 psi across the 0.2-1.0 MPa range), speed runs 50-500 mm/s, and the fixed TPU bumper at both ends takes the end-of-travel shock.
The short ISO 21287-class body saves about 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, which matters when a 10 mm stroke must fit inside a press fixture or guard. For sizing, plan on roughly 2037 N of usable pull at 0.5 MPa rather than the full rating; in vertical terms the rod lifts about 346 kg, or about 173 kg with a 2:1 margin. Note this model is discontinued: the current-production replacement is the ATE100X10 (swap the P for an E), so confirm ISO 21287 mounting dimensions before swapping. The magnet is not fitted here - order the -S code if you need CMSE / DMSE switch sensing.

Replacing the Airtac ATP Single Acting Port Compact Cylinder ATP100X10 with the ATE100X10
Size against neighbours: a 80 mm bore pulls about 2159.1 N at 0.5 MPa, while this 100 mm bore gives 3395.3 N; if the load is lighter, the 63 mm bore at 1320.0 N may be enough. On air loss the spring returns the rod to its extended home position - it will not hold a mid-stroke position, so do not use it to park a load. Mounting brackets FA/FB flange, LB foot and CA/CB clevis bolt to the standard face, and the optional -S magnet enables CMSE / DMSE switches. This model is discontinued; order the ATE100X10 as the drop-in successor and verify the ISO 21287 mounting dimensions.
