About the Airtac ATP Single Acting Port Compact Cylinder ATP50X25S
A single acting pull cylinder with spring return, the ATP50X25S keeps the rod extended by spring force and retracts it with compressed air. At 0.5 MPa it pulls 775 N net of the spring, rising to 1127.5 N at 0.7 MPa, with a minimum working pressure of 0.2 MPa needed to overcome the spring. The hard-anodized aluminium body and S45C hard-chrome rod carry a fixed TPU bumper at each end, and the short ISO 21287-class body saves about 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder.
Because the S code is in this model, the optional -S magnet is fitted, so CMSE or DMSE reed and solid-state switches can be mounted directly on the body. In practical terms, plan on roughly 465 N of real work at 0.5 MPa, which is about 39 kg of vertical lift with a 2:1 margin. Note that this model is discontinued: the current-production replacement is the ATE50X25, so confirm ISO 21287 mounting dimensions before swapping.
