Short strokes do not mean soft output: at 0.5 MPa this 40 mm bore MAC pushes 628.3 N and pulls 527.8 N over just 20 mm of travel. It is double acting with a variable air cushion at both ends, and runs at 30-800 mm/s on filtered air within 0.15-1.0 MPa (22-145 psi). Derate for real work: about 64 kgf of vertical lift is available at 0.5 MPa, or roughly 32 kg once you keep a 2:1 margin.
The U flat-end back cover gives a clean fixed mounting face without brackets. Its stainless-steel tube and hard-chrome carbon-steel rod shrug off mild corrosion, an edge over painted minis in wet food or outdoor cells.
