The AirTAC Airtac B52-GR Copper-Free Air Source Treatment Unit B52-GR40010JC1K is a genuine G-series air pressure regulator. It holds a stable downstream pressure over the range 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi) with PT3/8" ports, and ships with a pressure gauge. A regulator does not filter the air — put a GF filter upstream, or use a GFR filter regulator, when water and particulate must also be removed.
GR40010JC1K is a genuine AirTAC G-series air pressure regulator in the GR400 size, fitted with a reverse check valve (the trailing K). It reduces and holds downstream pressure from a compressed-air supply, with a 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) adjustment range and a 1.0 MPa (145 psi) maximum inlet. J means it is supplied without a mounting bracket, and C1 fits the external round gauge with an MPa scale. The 10 port position decodes to PT3/8. This is a regulator only: no filter bowl, no filtration and no lubricator.
The GR series is offered in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 inch; PT is the standard thread and G (BSPP) or NPT are catalogue options to order. Gauges come in square or round style with MPa, psi or bar scale, brackets are optional, and the K check-valve variant is ordered by code as here. GR works from -20 to 70 C and has low pressure loss. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing for your line before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. Note the GR temperature range is -20 to +70 °C, wider than the other G-series units. A regulator has no bowl and no filter element, so there is no filtering grade. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GR400 | G-series pressure regulator, 400 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 10 | Port size PT3/8". This body offers 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| (blank) | Standard type — 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 1 | Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, type, bracket, gauge, gauge shape, scale, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GR300-08LNK is a 300 body, PT1/4", low-pressure type, no gauge, with reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure.

Hold set pressure on fixture clamps and power chucks where downstream valves exhaust through the same branch - the fitted check valve keeps backflow from unloading the regulator setting.
Regulate the air branch feeding grippers and vacuum ejectors on a robot arm, where actuator return flow would otherwise push back through a plain regulator between cycles.
Feed hold-down and diverting cylinders along a packaging conveyor at a fixed pressure so product control stays repeatable from the first station to the last.
Pick the GR400 3/8 in step for circuits above the GR300 class, or drop to GR200/GR300 with a 1/4 in port for lighter demand - we will confirm flow against the published curves on request. Adjustment covers 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi). Choose this K variant when backflow through the regulator would upset the set pressure or the circuit downstream; without K you get the plain regulator. The C1 code fits the external round gauge with an MPa scale, with square (F) and psi/bar scales available. Thread is PT as standard with G and NPT as options, and J means no bracket is fitted, so add bracket hardware if you need one.
Quick checklist
The reflux valve lets air flow back through the regulator, which is useful when downstream volume must vent quickly. A regulator does not remove water or particulate; that is the filter's job.
AirTAC publishes regulator flow as performance curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote one l/min or SCFM number here. Share your inlet pressure, set pressure and downstream demand and we will confirm the datasheet curve and sizing for this GR400 3/8 in check-valve version on request before you order.
K fits a reverse (check) valve in the regulator, so downstream air cannot flow backwards through the unit and disturb the set pressure. If your valves exhaust through the same branch or the load can push back, the K variant is the safer decode; otherwise the plain GR40010JC1 without K is equivalent in regulation. The rest of the code is unchanged: J = no bracket, C1 = round gauge with MPa scale.
