The AirTAC Airtac B52-GR Copper-Free Air Source Treatment Unit B52-GR40010LJN is a genuine G-series air pressure regulator. It holds a stable downstream pressure over the range 0.05 - 0.4 MPa (7 - 58 psi) with PT3/8" ports, ordered without a gauge. A regulator does not filter the air — put a GF filter upstream, or use a GFR filter regulator, when water and particulate must also be removed.
GR40010LJN is an AirTAC G-series air pressure regulator in the 400 size, fitted with a 3/8 in PT threaded port. The L marks the low-pressure type, with the regulated outlet set up to 0.4 MPa, suited to circuits that run below the standard GR range. The N code means no pressure gauge is fitted, so the set pressure must be read on a separate panel gauge or on a gauged unit elsewhere in the circuit. This configuration comes without a mounting bracket.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GR series is offered in 200, 300, 400 and 600 sizes with a choice of PT, G(BSPP) or NPT threads, gauged or gaugeless versions, bracket or panel mounting, and an optional reverse/check valve. It runs on compressed air only, works from -20 to 70 C, and maximum working pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi). Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so we confirm the datasheet figures on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. Note the GR temperature range is -20 to +70 °C, wider than the other G-series units. A regulator has no bowl and no filter element, so there is no filtering grade. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GR400 | G-series pressure regulator, 400 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 10 | Port size PT3/8". This body offers 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| L | Low-pressure type — 0.05 - 0.4 MPa (7 - 58 psi). Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| N | No pressure gauge (N). |
| (blank) | Gauge shape: Factory standard. C is round, F is square. |
| (blank) | Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, type, bracket, gauge, gauge shape, scale, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GR300-08LNK is a 300 body, PT1/4", low-pressure type, no gauge, with reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure.

Serves as the low-pressure set point inside a control panel where pressure is already displayed on a separate panel-mounted gauge.
Sets low cushioning pressure under air-film conveyors and handling tables, where the set point stays well below 0.4 MPa.
Fitted into machine-builder pneumatic sub-plates that carry their own instrumentation, so the regulator is ordered gaugeless.
Size 400 with a 3/8 in PT port is the upper-middle step in the GR range; step down to 300 or up to 600 if your flow requirement points elsewhere. As an L-type regulator the outlet is adjustable up to 0.4 MPa, so choose the standard GR for set points beyond that. The N code deletes the gauge - order a C or F variant if you want the pressure readable at the unit, or rely on a panel-mounted gauge. Thread is PT as the standard, with G(BSPP) and NPT available to order, and J deletes the bracket. AirTAC publishes flow as curves, not a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm sizing against the application before ordering.
Quick checklist
Without a reflux valve, air cannot flow back through the regulator — order the K option if reverse flow is required. A regulator does not remove water or particulate; that is the filter's job.
Yes, the regulator adjusts as normal, but the N code means no gauge is fitted, so read the set pressure on a separate gauge in the circuit. If you want the pressure readable at the unit, order GR40010LJC1 (round gauge) or GR40010LJF1 (square gauge) instead.
AirTAC publishes GR flow as characteristic curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote one number on the page. Share your line flow and pressures and we will confirm the GR400 datasheet figures and sizing on request.
