About the Airtac BL Air Lubricator BL2000G

The AirTAC BL2000G is a compact B-line air lubricator that adds a fine oil mist to your compressed air line, protecting downstream cylinders, valves and air tools from wear and corrosion. It carries a transparent polycarbonate bowl and sight dome so you can watch and set the oil drip rate at a glance, and the B-line body is fitted with a high-strength plastic protective cover over the bowl. Media is compressed air, the port is G1/4 (BSPP), working pressure runs up to 1.0 MPa (145 psi) with a minimum inlet of 0.05 MPa, and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing. This is a genuine AirTAC compact A/B-line part. The B-line is the larger of the two compact body sizes and is also available in 1/8", 3/8" and 1/2" port sizes; the smaller A-line covers the same range in a lighter body. Rated flow is not published as a single figure for these units, so contact us and we will confirm the flow or send the datasheet for your exact configuration on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC A/B-line air-preparation data. Drain type, filter grade, gauge and low-pressure options are set by the model-code suffix - see the description. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we confirm from the factory datasheet.

How to choose

Choose the BL if your circuit needs lubrication only - it does not filter or regulate. Pick the A-line (AL) for lighter circuits and the B-line (BL) for larger ports: 1500 is 1/8", 2000 is 1/4", 3000 is 3/8" and 4000 is 1/2". Your code here selects the G (BSPP) thread; PT is the standard thread and NPT can be ordered instead if your pipework calls for it. If you also need water and particulate removal or pressure regulation, step up to the matching BFR filter-regulator or a two-unit BFC set. Because rated flow for this family is not stated as a single number, ask us to confirm sizing against your air consumption before ordering.

Applications

handyman

Auto repair shop air tools

Feeding impact wrenches, ratchets and air ratchets at a service bay lift station, keeping a light oil mist in the line so vane motors and hammer mechanisms stay lubricated shift after shift.

conveyor_belt

Palletizer cylinder bank

Mounted ahead of the pick-and-place cylinders on a case palletizing line, supplying oil mist so bore seals and rod bearings in continuous cycling service do not run dry.

factory

Textile weaving plant ring headers

Installed on branch drops serving loom air jets and clamping cylinders, where a steady visible drip rate lets operators confirm lubrication without stopping the machine.

FAQ

What is the rated flow of the BL2000G?

Flow for the compact A/B-line lubricators is not published as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your air consumption and circuit details and we will confirm the correct size and provide the datasheet figures for the BL2000G on request.

The code ends in G - what thread does that give me, and can I get NPT?

The trailing G means this unit is ordered with G (BSPP) parallel threads, suitable for BSPP fittings and sealing washers. PT is the standard thread for this family, and NPT (suffix T) can be ordered instead if your installation uses tapered NPT piping. Just ask when ordering.
