About the Airtac DMSJ Electronic Sensor DMSJ-P100
The DMSJ-P100 is an electronic, solid-state magnetic position switch that reads the piston magnet of an AirTAC cylinder ordered with the built-in magnet option. Its PNP 3-wire output and 10 m flying lead are both decoded straight from the part number, the supply span is 5-30 V DC, and the housing carries an IP64 rating. The J profile defines which sensor groove the body seats into.
A three-wire PNP output sources current to the load and hands the PLC a defined, contact-bounce-free signal, which is why it is usually preferred over a series-wired 2-wire part on dedicated input cards. Note that the profile letter is a mounting fit code, not a grade - check it against your cylinder's groove and send us the series if you need the fit verified.

The split is electrical, not quality. Solid-state DMS and EMS are DC-only and suit modern PLC inputs; the reed-based CMS switches a much wider window, so it is the one for AC circuits, relay logic and older panels. The RW (IP68) option exists on DMS and EMS only.
