About the AirTAC GC300-10 FRL Unit (GC30010ALF1)

GC30010ALF1 is a genuine AirTAC G-series three-unit F.R.L. combination: separate filter, regulator and lubricator units that together clean, regulate and oil-mist lubricate a compressed-air line. This 300-size set is ported 3/8 inch with a PT thread, uses the standard 40 um filter element with an automatic drain on the filter bowl, and is built on the low-pressure (L) type regulator with the embedded square gauge scaled in MPa. At size 300 the filter and lubricator bowls are polycarbonate (PC).

AirTAC builds the G series in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600, with differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, 40 um or 5 um filtration, PT, G (BSPP) or NPT threads, gauge styles and scales, and a low-pressure regulator option. Maximum working pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so we confirm the datasheet and flow figures for this set on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. The combination has no separate bracket code — the three units couple together with their own mounting hardware. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

FGauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square.
1Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar.
(blank)Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist.
(blank)PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT.
(blank)No reverse-flow valve (the default).

Field order is size, port, drain, type, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — there is no bracket position on a combination. Constituent units, orderable separately as spares: GF300-10 filter, GR300-10 regulator and GL300-10 lubricator.

Size Class & How It Differs From GFC

  • GC200PT1/8" - PT1/4"
  • GC300PT1/4" - PT1/2"
  • GC400PT3/8" - PT1/2"
  • GC600PT3/4" - PT1"

A GC is three separate units, so the filter and the regulator can each be serviced or replaced on their own. A GFC is the two-unit set, where filtering and regulating share one body — shorter, but the two functions come as one part. Both filter, regulate and lubricate.

Is the AirTAC GC300-10 FRL Unit (GC30010ALF1) the Right Station?

Size 300 with a 3/8 inch PT port is the mid step of the range; step to 200 for small drops or to 400/600 for larger mains and higher air demand. This model keeps the standard 40 um element; add W to the code for the 5 um grade where finer downstream protection matters. The A suffix fits an automatic drain on the filter bowl, with manual and differential-pressure drains as alternatives. This is the low-pressure (L) type regulator; with the automatic drain the catalogue set range is 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi). The square gauge is embedded and scaled in MPa; psi or bar scales and the round external gauge are order options. PT is the standard thread, with G (BSPP) and NPT as catalogue choices. Flow appears only as curves in the catalogue, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.

Quick checklist

  • ✓ Body size for your peak flow (PT3/8" here)
  • ✓ Element 40 µm or 5 µm
  • ✓ Drain sets the regulating band
  • ✓ Gauge fitted, shape and scale
  • ✓ Three-unit (GC) or two-unit (GFC) layout
  • ✓ Oil mist acceptable downstream

Installation & Maintenance Notes

  • check Install with the airflow arrow: filter first, lubricator last.
  • check Mount vertically, bowls down.
  • check Keep inlet pressure at or below 1.0 MPa (145 psi).
  • check Adjust only within 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi).
  • check Drain condensate before the bowl fills; check the oil level.
  • check Keep the station above freezing (-5 to +70 °C, unfreeze).

The PC bowls must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe them with a dry cloth. The lubricator adds an oil mist downstream of the regulator. If any branch of the line must stay oil-free, take that branch off before the lubricator, or use a GR300-10 regulator with a GF300-10 filter on that branch.

AirTAC GC300-10 FRL Unit (GC30010ALF1) FAQ

AirTAC publishes flow for the G series as curves against pressure rather than a single rated figure, so there is no one number to quote. Share your line pressure and required air consumption and we will confirm the datasheet flow figures for this 3/8 inch PT set on request.

The filter grade is a code suffix: with no W, the set carries the standard 40 um element, suited to general protection of cylinders and valves on plant air. Ordering the same set with W gives the 5 um element for finer downstream protection. Both grades fit the same GC300 combination.
