The AirTAC AirTAC GFR300-08 Filter Regulator (GFR30008JF1K) is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/4" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR30008JF1K is a genuine AirTAC G-series filter regulator: water and particulate filtration plus pressure regulation built into one body, with a drain bowl but no lubricator. This size 300 unit has a 1/4 in PT port, the standard 40 um filter element and the default differential-pressure drain. Downstream pressure adjusts from 0.15 to 0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), the embedded square gauge reads in MPa, and the fitted K reverse (check) valve holds the set pressure if the upstream supply dips. Maximum working pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi); operating temperature is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing, with a polycarbonate bowl at this size.
AirTAC builds the GFR family in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, PT as the standard thread and G (BSPP) or NPT as catalogue options. This J-code unit is supplied without a mounting bracket. Flow for the series is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so tell us your application and we will confirm the datasheet figures on request before you order.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding the directional valve that actuates a clamp cylinder, the regulator holds a fixed clamp pressure while the K check valve keeps the setting in place if the shop supply dips mid-cycle.
Mounted at the panel inlet for a PLC-managed air-logic circuit, it cleans the supply to 40 um and gives a stable, MPa-gauged branch pressure to the pilot valves.
Installed ahead of the tool-clamp/unclamp cylinders on a machining centre, it filters line water and sets the clamp pressure once, independent of header fluctuations.
Match the size and port to demand: this 300 body with a 1/4 in PT port is the mid step - smaller points of use can drop to 200/06 (1/8 in) or 200/08 (1/4 in), heavier lines step up to 400/15 (1/2 in) or 600/25 (1 in). Drain choice is yours: the default differential-pressure type shown here, an automatic drain (A) for unattended drops, or a manual drain (M); note manual drain widens the regulator adjustment range to 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi). Filter grade is 40 um standard, with 5 um (W) where finer cleaning matters. Gauge options are this embedded square gauge (MPa, with psi/bar scale variants) and thread options are PT standard, G (BSPP) or NPT; J here means no bracket is supplied. Because AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR300 series as curves, not a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your inlet pressure, set pressure and air demand and we will confirm the correct size from the datasheet on request before you order.
K means a reverse (check) valve is fitted. If upstream pressure falls below the set level, the check valve prevents downstream air from flowing back, holding your regulated pressure in the circuit - useful on clamp, grip and safety circuits where a momentary supply dip must not relax the actuator.
