The AirTAC AirTAC GFR200-06F3WT Filter Regulator 1/8 in NPT, 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/8" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR200-06F3WT is a size-200 filter regulator: filtration and pressure regulation combined in one compact body. It removes water and particulate down to 5 um (the finer of the two available grades), regulates downstream pressure in a low-pressure configuration, and drains accumulated condensate automatically by differential pressure as the element loads up. The 1/8 in NPT port suits small lines and point-of-use drops, the embedded square gauge reads outlet pressure in bar, and the polycarbonate bowl with included mounting bracket makes installation straightforward. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR series is published in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with a choice of ports, threads (PT standard, G and NPT as order options), drain types, filter grades, gauge styles and scales, and a low-pressure regulator variant. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR200 | G-series filter regulator, 200 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 06 | Port size PT1/8". This body offers 06 = PT1/8", 08 = PT1/4". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 3 | Gauge scale: bar. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeds and regulates low-pressure air to swing clamps and hold-down cylinders on a machining fixture, with the 5 um element keeping fine particulate out of the clamp spools and the square bar gauge giving the setter a direct outlet-pressure readout.
Supplies clean, regulated low-pressure air to the small diverting and ejecting cylinders along a packaging line, with differential-pressure drainage carrying condensate away without operator intervention at each drop.
Conditions the shop-air feed to a bench-top leak or actuation test rig, where the 5 um grade protects sensitive instrumentation and the low-pressure regulator type holds a gentle, stable supply to the test circuit.
Choose the size and port step against the air consumption of the downstream circuit: this unit is size 200 with a 1/8 in NPT port, the smallest step in the range, so move up to 300/400/600 if your line draws more air. Drain type is a real choice: differential-pressure (fitted here, drains as the element loads), automatic, or manual. Filter grade is 40 um standard or 5 um (code W, fitted here) where finer particulate protection matters. Gauge options are the embedded square gauge (standard) or an external round gauge, with MPa, psi or bar scales - this unit carries the square gauge reading bar. Thread is PT as standard with G and NPT as orderable options; a mounting bracket is included on this configuration. Note this is the low-pressure regulator type; its exact adjustment range is not published, so confirm it with us before ordering. Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote a figure here. Send us your line pressure and air consumption and we will confirm the flow and sizing from the datasheet on request.
The standard element is 40 um, which suits general shop-air drops. This unit carries the 5 um element (code W), the finer of the two published grades, for circuits with close-tolerance valves, cylinders or instrumentation. Both grades are available across the GFR range, and the low-pressure regulator variant and gauge scale are also selectable - ask us to confirm the exact adjustment range and options on request.
