The AirTAC AirTAC GFR20006MLC2K Filter Regulator PT1/8 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/8" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR200 series combines water and particulate filtration with pressure regulation in a single body. This GFR20006MLC2K is the size 200 unit with a PT 1/8 in port, a manual drain on the polycarbonate bowl, the standard 40 um filter element, and the low-pressure regulator type. It arrives with an external round gauge reading in psi, a reverse (check) valve fitted, and a mounting bracket included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in up to 1 in, a choice of manual, automatic or differential-pressure drains, 40 um or 5 um (W) filtration, gauge styles and scales, and G or NPT thread options to order. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm sizing and datasheet details for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR200 | G-series filter regulator, 200 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 06 | Port size PT1/8". This body offers 06 = PT1/8", 08 = PT1/4". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Supplying filtered, reduced-pressure air to paint spray guns at finishing stations, where a low-pressure setpoint and clean, dry air protect the finish.
Feeding clean, low-pressure air to laboratory analytical instruments and sample-purge lines on a compact PT 1/8 in drop.
Regulating air to small pneumatic cylinders and grippers on electronics assembly benches, with the check valve holding downstream pressure during supply dips.
Choose the size step (200 here, up to 600) against the flow your line needs - larger sizes carry larger ports, from 1/8 in up to 1 in. On this unit the drain is manual, so plan a routine blow-down; automatic and differential-pressure drain variants exist if you would rather not rely on operator rounds. The 40 um element is the standard grade; specify the W code for 5 um where finer particulate removal matters. Thread is PT as standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT as order options, and a bracket is included.
Because AirTAC publishes flow as curves rather than a single rated figure, we do not quote a flow number here. Send us your application details and we will confirm sizing and the regulation range of the low-pressure type from the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your supply pressure and the flow your application needs, and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet curves on request.
The L code makes this a low-pressure regulator variant rather than the standard type; its exact adjustment range is not published in the standard table, so we confirm the setpoint range from the datasheet on request. The M code is the manual drain: open it periodically to discharge water collected in the polycarbonate bowl, or choose an automatic-drain variant if you prefer not to rely on operator rounds.
