The AirTAC AirTAC GFR200C08NT Filter Regulator 1/4 in NPT is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR200C08NT is a size 200 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration has a 1/4 in NPT port, a differential-pressure drain that bleeds condensate as the pressure differential across the element builds, and the standard 40 um filtration element. The regulator is the standard type with an adjustment range of 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), and no gauge is fitted - add your own downstream gauge if a visual setpoint is needed. A mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR series is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with a choice of PT, G (BSPP) or NPT threads, differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, 40 um or 5 um (W) filtration, and gauge or no-gauge variants. Max working (inlet) pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Point-of-use conditioning for a machining centre's pneumatic circuits: the 40 um element strips water and swarf-laden particulate before the air reaches tool-clamp and tool-change cylinders, while the regulator holds a steady setpoint for consistent clamping behaviour.
Feeding diverters, pushers and sealing cylinders on a packaging conveyor: clean, regulated air at a stable pressure keeps stroke timing repeatable, and the differential-pressure drain carries off condensate without operator intervention.
A compact conditioning point at individual assembly-bench drop legs: the single-body filter regulator saves panel space versus separate units, and the included bracket mounts it directly at the station for local pressure adjustment.
Start with the port step: size 200 with a 1/4 in NPT port suits lines plumbed at 1/4 in - step up to GFR300/400/600 if your flow demand points to a larger port. Choose the drain: this unit's differential-pressure drain needs no timer or operator attention, while automatic (A) and manual (M) variants are orderable. Choose the element: 40 um is standard for general plant air; specify 5 um (W code) where finer protection matters. Note this variant has no gauge - gauge and no-gauge versions exist, and PT or G threads are orderable alternatives to NPT. Flow is published as curves, not a single rated figure, so send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes G-series flow as performance curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated flow, Cv or SCFM number for this unit. Send us your application details and we will confirm the flow data from the datasheet and check the sizing against your demand before you order.
The GFR200C08NT is a no-gauge variant, so no pressure gauge is supplied. You can fit your own downstream gauge, or order a GFR200 variant specified with a gauge (round or square, with MPa, psi or bar scale). The regulator itself adjusts across 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) regardless of the gauge choice.
