The AirTAC AirTAC GFR300-10 Filter Regulator 3/8 in NPT 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300-10 is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure steady, in a single body. This 300-size unit is threaded 3/8 in NPT, carries the finer 5 um filter element instead of the standard 40 um grade, and has a manual drain that you open by hand to empty collected condensate from the polycarbonate bowl. It comes with the external round gauge scaled in bar, a reverse (check) valve fitted, and a mounting bracket. The regulator is the standard type with an adjustment range of 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) on this manual-drain version, and maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR range covers sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 inch, a choice of differential-pressure, automatic or manual drain, 40 um or 5 um filtration, gauge or no-gauge versions, and PT, G (BSPP) or NPT threads. Working temperature is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| 10 | Port size PT3/8". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |

| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 3 | Gauge scale: bar. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filtered, regulated air to the tool-clamp and coolant-chest cylinders on a CNC machining centre's shop-air drop. The 5 um element keeps fine particulate out of the machine's directional valves, the manual drain is emptied at shift start, and the check valve holds the downstream setting through brief upstream dips.
A regulated supply for stop-and-release cylinders and carton-clamp actuators on a bottling or cartoning conveyor line. The filter regulator sits at the line drop so operators set one steady working pressure for the whole station, with the round bar gauge giving a local reading.
Regulated air to pneumatic clamping fixtures and small air presses on a fabrication-shop bench. Clean, pressure-stable supply keeps clamp force repeatable from part to part, and the mounting bracket lets the unit sit upright at the fixture for easy gauge reading and draining.
Size and port set the capacity: the 300 series steps up from the 200 series and this unit has a 3/8 in NPT port, so choose the size whose flow curve covers your air demand - we can check the curves against your application before you order. Regulation range on this manual-drain version is 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi). The 5 um element (code W) suits points where finer filtration than the standard 40 um grade matters. Gauge options are the embedded square gauge or the external round gauge fitted here; scales are MPa, psi or bar, and this one reads in bar. Thread is NPT on this unit - PT is the catalogue standard and G (BSPP) is also available to order. A mounting bracket is included.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your inlet pressure and air demand and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet before you order.
This unit uses a manual drain: condensate collected in the polycarbonate bowl is emptied by opening the drain by hand, which suits points that are visited daily. If the installation is hard to reach, the same body is available with an automatic or differential-pressure drain - just ask when ordering.
