The AirTAC AirTAC GFR300-15 Filter Regulator PT1/2, 5 um, Manual Drain is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/2" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300-15 is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and sets downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration is the 300 size with a PT1/2 (1/2 in) port, a fine 5 um filter element (the W grade, tighter than the 40 um standard), a manual drain on the PC bowl, an embedded square pressure gauge reading in psi, and a built-in reverse/check valve. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the standard regulator adjusts from 0.05 to 0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing. No mounting bracket is included with this version.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is offered in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, a choice of 40 um or 5 um filtration, manual, automatic or differential-pressure drains, and gauge scale options. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| 15 | Port size PT1/2". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Placed at the drop feeding a CNC machining centre's pneumatic clamps and tool-change cylinders, this unit filters machining-air moisture and swarf down to 5 um and holds a steady regulated pressure to the valves. The psi gauge lets the setter read the setting directly, and the check valve holds the circuit if supply pressure dips.
Mounted ahead of the cylinder banks on a bottling conveyor section, the GFR300-15 cleans the shop air feeding the pushers and stopper gates and regulates it to the pressure the cylinder and valve manufacturer specifies. The manual drain suits a line with a scheduled end-of-shift blowdown routine.
Installed on the air inlet of a carton-sealing or wrapping machine, this filter regulator protects the machine's solenoid valves and air cylinders from water and fine particles while setting the working pressure at the panel. The square psi gauge gives the operator a clear reading, and the 1/2 in port suits the machine's main air connection.
Step up or down through the GFR sizes (200, 300, 400, 600) and their port sizes (1/8 in to 1 in) to match the air demand of the line; the 300 size with its PT1/2 port sits in the middle of the range. Choose the drain to suit access: manual (this unit) needs someone to open the drain, while automatic and differential-pressure drains handle it for you. Pick the 5 um W element where downstream equipment needs finer filtration than the 40 um standard. The embedded square gauge reads in psi here; MPa and bar scales and an external round gauge are options. PT is the standard thread, with G (BSPP) and NPT available to order, and brackets are optional. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes GFR flow as curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote a l/min, m3/h or SCFM figure for this unit. Send us your application's air demand and working pressure and we will confirm the flow curve and correct size from the datasheet on request before you order.
The M in the code GFR30015MJF2WK specifies a manual drain on the PC bowl: collected water is released by opening the drain by hand. Choose manual where the bowl is accessible and maintenance is on a routine; choose the automatic or differential-pressure drain versions where the unit is hard to reach or the line runs unattended. The manual-drain version also allows the widest 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) regulation range.
