The AirTAC AirTAC GFR300-15T Filter Regulator, NPT1/2, Manual Drain is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/2" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300-15T is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in one body. This unit is the size-300 series with a 1/2 in NPT port, a manual drain on the PC (polycarbonate) bowl, a 40 um standard filter element, an embedded square gauge scaled in bar, and a reverse/check valve fitted. It handles a maximum inlet pressure of 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and operates from -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). With the manual drain fitted, the regulator adjustment range is 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi). A mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, a choice of PT (standard), G or NPT thread, manual, automatic or differential-pressure drains, a 5 um optional element (code W), gauge scale options, and a low-pressure type. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we confirm flow and datasheet figures on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding a workshop air press at 1/2 in line size: the 40 um element strips water and pipe scale before the air reaches the regulator, which the operator sets to the press working pressure and reads on the bar-scaled square gauge. The check valve holds the set pressure if the supply dips.
On a packaging line running cylinder-driven pushers and clamps, this filter regulator conditions the 1/2 in supply drop, keeps moisture and debris out of the valve stack, and lets the line technician adjust actuator speed pressure at the gauge. The manual drain is emptied during shift-end checks.
At a vehicle service bay with a 1/2 in overhead drop for impact wrenches and inflation tools, the unit filters the shop air, regulates it to tool working pressure, and the check valve prevents backflow between bays sharing a header.
Size and port set the capacity: the 300 series with a 1/2 in port sits mid-range in the GFR line, one step above the 200 series and below the 400 and 600. Choose the drain to match maintenance routines - manual (as fitted here) suits attended installations, automatic suits unattended duty, and differential-pressure is the default. The 40 um element is standard; specify the 5 um W option if finer filtration is needed. The square gauge is embedded and scaled in bar here, with MPa and psi scales and an external round gauge available. PT is the standard thread; G and NPT are catalogue options to order - this unit carries NPT. A bracket is included, and the K code means a reverse/check valve is fitted.
Because flow is published as curves and not as a single rating, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated flow number. Tell us your line size and required flow and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet curves on request before you order.
The M in the code GFR30015MF3TK specifies a manual drain: condensate collected in the PC bowl is released by hand rather than automatically. It suits installations that are checked regularly. If the unit will run unattended, the automatic (A) or differential-pressure (blank) drain options are the better choice. Note that with a manual drain the regulator adjustment range is 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi).
