The AirTAC AirTAC GFR30015C2TK Filter Regulator NPT1/2 40um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/2" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR30015C2TK is a 300-size filter regulator that removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration has a 1/2 in NPT port, a 40 um standard filtration element, a differential-pressure drain that bleeds condensate automatically as flow passes through, a round pressure gauge reading in psi, a reverse/check valve fitted, and a mounting bracket included. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the standard regulator adjusts between 0.15 and 0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). The polycarbonate bowl keeps the condensate level visible at a glance.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR series is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 to 1 in, a choice of differential-pressure, automatic or manual drain, 40 um or 5 um (W) filtration, standard or low-pressure regulation, gauge or no-gauge builds, and PT, G or NPT threads. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding a workshop pneumatic press: the 40 um element strips water and pipe scale from the shop air line, while the regulator holds a steady working pressure at the press cylinder so cycle behaviour stays repeatable through the shift.
Conditioning air ahead of the valve manifold on a packaging conveyor: clean, regulated air protects the directional valves and cylinders from moisture carryover, and the psi round gauge lets an operator verify set pressure at a glance.
Serving air drops at a maintenance and assembly bench: the filter regulator gives each station its own clean, set pressure independent of the header line, and the reverse/check valve holds the downstream setting if the supply dips.
Start with the port and size step: this unit is 300 size with a 1/2 in NPT port, and the 200/300/400/600 ladder exists so you can step up when your line needs more flow capacity. Because flow is published as curves and not a single rated number, tell us your application and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order. Other decodable choices on this family: drain type (differential-pressure as here, automatic, or manual - note the manual-drain build widens the adjustment range down to 0.05 MPa), filter grade (40 um standard, 5 um with code W for finer protection), gauge style and scale (embedded square gauge standard, external round gauge optional, in MPa, psi or bar scales), thread (PT is the standard; G and NPT are order options, as on this NPT build), and bracket (included here; code J deletes it).
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR300 series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number that could mislead your sizing. Send us your application details and we will confirm the relevant flow figures from the datasheet on request before you order.
The C2 in the code specifies an external round gauge with a psi scale on this build; the embedded square gauge is the standard alternative, and gauge scales are available in MPa, psi or bar. If your panel reads in a different unit, ask us about the equivalent code with the scale you need.
