The AirTAC AirTAC GFR400C15MJF2K Filter Regulator PT1/2, psi Gauge is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400C15MJF2K is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure steady in a single body. This size 400 unit is threaded PT1/2 (1/2 in), carries the standard 40 um filter element, and drains by hand through its manual drain - the polycarbonate bowl is emptied as part of routine maintenance. The regulator is the standard type with a 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) adjustment range, an embedded square gauge graduated in psi, and a reverse/check valve fitted so the downstream setting is held if supply pressure dips. No mounting bracket is included with this configuration.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR filter-regulator family runs from size 200 to 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, and is orderable with a choice of drain type, 40 um or 5 um filtration, gauge scale, PT, G or NPT thread, and bracket options. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filter and regulate the shop-air feed to a CNC machine's pneumatic tool-clamp and chip-door cylinders, holding a steady setting while the 40 um element stops scale and pipe rust reaching the valves.
Supply the air cylinders that divert bottles between lanes on a filling line; the regulator keeps actuator behaviour consistent through the shift and the manual drain is emptied during planned washdown stops.
Feed a carton-sealer's pneumatic fold-and-press cylinders from a regulated branch, with the fitted check valve holding the setting if plant pressure dips while other machines cycle in.
Choose the size by the flow your line needs: size 400 with a 1/2 in PT port sits one step above 300 and below 600, and the published flow curves - not a single rating - are what decide the step. Pick the drain to match your maintenance routine: manual (this unit) for supervised draining, or automatic / differential-pressure where the unit is hard to reach. Filtration is 40 um standard; specify 5 um (code W) for finer protection. The gauge here reads in psi, with MPa and bar scales as alternatives and an external round gauge optional. PT thread is standard on this model, with G (BSPP) and NPT available to order, and a bracket can be added if this no-bracket configuration does not suit your panel. Before ordering, send us your flow requirement and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet curves.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes GFR flow as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your operating pressure and required flow and we will confirm the datasheet curve for this exact configuration before you order.
This unit drains by hand: open the drain at the bottom of the polycarbonate bowl during routine checks. If the unit will be mounted where draining is awkward, the same size is available with an automatic or differential-pressure drain - tell us and we will quote that variant.
