The AirTAC AirTAC GFR600-20 Filter Regulator 3/4 NPT Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/4" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR600-20 is an AirTAC GFR-series filter regulator: a single body that removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure at your setpoint. This 600-size unit is built with 3/4 in NPT ports, a manual-drain bowl in aluminium alloy, a 40 um standard filter element, the low-pressure regulator type, an embedded square gauge scaled in bar, and a reverse/check valve fitted. No mounting bracket is included. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
It is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is published in 200, 300, 400 and 600 sizes with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, and options including automatic or manual drains, a 5 um element (code W), gauge scales in MPa, psi or bar, G (BSPP) or NPT threads, and bracket choices. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing and datasheet figures for your application before you order.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR600 | G-series filter regulator, 600 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 20 | Port size PT3/4". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 3 | Gauge scale: bar. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding gripper and clamp actuators on a bottling line, where filtered, regulated air at a low setpoint keeps bottle-handling motion consistent through the shift and the manual drain is bled at scheduled checks.
A point-of-use drop feeding a small pneumatic press or clamping fixture, where the operator sets a low working pressure and the 40 um element keeps water and debris out of the valve and cylinder seals.
Supplying diverter and stopper cylinders on a packaging conveyor, with the reverse/check valve holding the downstream circuit against backflow from the shop-air main.
Choose the size by port and required flow: this 600 unit carries 3/4 in NPT ports for higher-flow lines, while the 200-400 bodies cover 1/8 to 1/2 in. Drain: this unit is manual, so the bowl is bled by hand at intervals; automatic or differential-pressure drains suit unattended lines. Element: 40 um is standard here; specify code W for the 5 um grade. Gauge: the embedded square gauge on this unit is scaled in bar; MPa or psi scales and an external round gauge are order options. Thread: PT is the AirTAC standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT as order options - this unit is ordered with NPT. Bracket: not fitted (code J). Because flow is published as curves, not a single rated figure, send us your flow and set-pressure requirements and we will confirm the right size against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes GFR flow as curves, not a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your required flow, inlet pressure and set pressure, and we will confirm against the datasheet whether the 600 size with 3/4 in NPT ports suits your line.
This unit is ordered with a manual drain (code M): the bowl is bled by hand at intervals. Choose it where the unit is inspected regularly as part of a maintenance routine; choose an automatic or differential-pressure drain for unattended installations. The 600-size bowl is aluminium alloy.
