The AirTAC AirTAC GFR600-25 Filter Regulator, 1 in NPT is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR600-25 is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration is the size 600 unit with a 1 in NPT port, the standard 40 um filter element, a differential-pressure drain that bleeds collected condensate automatically whenever the pressure drop across the element rises, and a round pressure gauge reading in bar. A reverse/check valve is fitted, and no mounting bracket is included. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the regulator adjusts from 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). The size 600 bowl is aluminium alloy.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is offered in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, and options include a 5 um element (code W), automatic or manual drain, square embedded or external round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, G (BSPP) or NPT threads in place of the PT standard, and bracket choices. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Conditioning and regulating the compressed air feeding a stamping or forming press: the 40 um element strips water and pipe scale from the main line, the regulator holds a steady setting to the press cylinders, and the 1 in NPT port matches the plant's main drop on heavy-duty machines.
Feeding clean, regulated air to the cylinder banks that index, clamp and divert bottles on a filling or packaging conveyor, where the differential-pressure drain keeps condensate out of the valves without an operator bleeding the bowl each shift.
Mounted upstream of a directional control valve manifold on a machine frame, so each valve station receives filtered air at a fixed regulated pressure, with the bar gauge giving operators a local reading of the set point at the manifold.
Start with the port and size step: GFR units step through sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600, and the size 600 with a 1 in port suits the largest branch lines, so match the step to the air demand of the line it feeds. Then choose the drain: differential-pressure (this unit) vents condensate on pressure drop, automatic drains continuously, and manual drain requires an operator to bleed the bowl - pick based on how often the installation is attended. Choose the 40 um standard element for general air preparation or the 5 um W option for finer protection; choose the gauge type and scale (square embedded or external round, in MPa, psi or bar - this unit carries an external round gauge in bar). Thread is PT as standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT as order options - this unit is NPT. Bracket is optional (this unit has none), and a reverse/check valve can be fitted (it is on this unit). Because flow is published as curves and not a single rated figure, send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes GFR flow performance as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated flow, Cv or SCFM number. Tell us your line pressure and the air demand of the equipment you are feeding, and we will confirm the sizing against the datasheet curves on request before you order.
The differential-pressure drain on this GFR600-25 bleeds collected condensate from the bowl automatically whenever the pressure drop across the 40 um element rises, with no operator involvement. Automatic drain is the choice where you want continuous draining regardless of load, and manual drain suits installations that are checked regularly. Note that the regulation range differs by drain type: with the differential-pressure drain fitted here it is 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), while manual-drain versions adjust from 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi).
