The AirTAC AirTAC GFR600-25 Filter Regulator 1 in NPT Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR600-25 is a filter regulator: water and particulate removal plus downstream pressure regulation in a single body. This 600-size unit is built with a 1 in NPT port, a manual drain bowl in aluminium alloy (size 600 bowls are aluminium), and a fine 5 um filter element where the standard grade is 40 um. It is the low-pressure type, is supplied without a gauge, and includes a mounting bracket. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR filter-regulator line spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, and options for drain type, filter grade, gauge and thread form (PT standard, with G and NPT as order options). Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we confirm the datasheet and sizing figures on request before you order.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR600 | G-series filter regulator, 600 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 25 | Port size PT1". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| N | No pressure gauge (N). |
| (blank) | Gauge shape: Factory standard. C is round, F is square. |
| (blank) | Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

A filter regulator at the 1 in takeoff from the main header conditions the air feeding a packaging hall's valve islands: the 5 um element strips fine particulate and the regulator sets a stable low-pressure supply to the downstream equipment.
On a conveyor line with pneumatic gate and stopper cylinders, this unit filters the supply and holds the working pressure the cylinders were set up for, with the manual drain emptied during scheduled line checks.
A machining cell's clamping fixtures need clean air at a set, moderate pressure. This low-pressure-type filter regulator conditions the 1 in supply line to the fixture manifold, protecting the clamping circuit from water and fine debris.
Choose the size and port step against the air demand of the circuit: this is the 600 size with a 1 in NPT port, the largest step in the line. The manual drain means an operator opens the bowl drain during checks rather than relying on an automatic or differential-pressure mechanism - pick automatic or differential-pressure drain codes if unattended draining matters. The W code selects the 5 um element instead of the 40 um standard, for finer particulate removal. A gauge can be ordered (square embedded or external round, with MPa, psi or bar scale); this unit ships without one. Thread is NPT here; PT is the standard form and G is also available. A bracket is included. Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, ask us to confirm sizing against your application - and the low-pressure type's regulation range - before ordering.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote a figure on the product page. Tell us your application and we will confirm the flow curve and correct sizing from the datasheet on request before you order.
The M code in GFR60025MLNWT selects a manual drain bowl: collected water is released by opening the drain by hand during routine checks, rather than automatically. If you need unattended draining, the same 600-size body is available with automatic (A) or differential-pressure (blank) drain codes - ask us for those variants.
