The AirTAC AirTAC GFR600-25 Filter Regulator 1 in PT, psi Gauge is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR600-25 is a filter regulator: one body that removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure at your setpoint. This 600-size unit carries a 1 in PT port for main-line air drops, a manual drain bowl in aluminium alloy, a 40 um standard filter element, an embedded square gauge reading in psi, and a built-in reverse (check) valve so downstream pressure is held if the supply drops. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the regulator adjusts from 0.05 to 0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR line spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, optional 5 um filtration (code W), automatic or differential-pressure drains, MPa/psi/bar gauge scales, G or NPT threads, and low-pressure variants. Flow for this series is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Installed at the 1 in header take-off feeding a machine shop's pneumatic circuits, it strips water and chips-carried particulate from the main supply and holds a steady setpoint to the actuators and air tools below.
Mounted ahead of the valve manifold on a bottling or carton-palletising conveyor line, it conditions the plant air and keeps cylinder pressure stable so clamp-and-release sequences stay repeatable through the shift.
Fitted at the supply point of a truck or bus service bay, it dries and filters the shop air feeding impact wrenches and lifting fixtures, while the check valve holds the set pressure if the compressor unloads.
Size the unit by the air demand of the line, not by port alone: the 600 size with a 1 in PT port is the largest step in the GFR range, so confirm required flow against the published curves before ordering. Choose the drain to suit access: this unit has a manual drain, which suits attended installations where an operator can bleed the bowl on a routine; pick automatic or differential-pressure drain codes if the drop is unattended. The 40 um element is the standard grade; specify the W code for 5 um when finer particulate removal is needed. The embedded square gauge here reads in psi; MPa and bar scales and an external round gauge are order options. PT is the standard thread, with G (BSPP) and NPT available as order options, and a mounting bracket is included.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote one number. Send us your line pressure, set pressure and air demand and we will confirm the sizing against the datasheet curves before you order.
The M in the code specifies a manual drain: condensate is bled by hand, which suits attended installations on a maintenance routine. The K code adds a reverse (check) valve that holds downstream pressure if the upstream supply is lost. If the drop point is unattended, ask about the automatic or differential-pressure drain codes instead.
