The AirTAC AirTAC GFR600-25G Filter Regulator G1 5um Auto Drain is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1" ports, a automatic drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR600-25G is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure at your setpoint in a single body. This 600-size unit carries a 1 in G-thread port, a 5 um filter element (code W, against the 40 um standard), an automatic drain that clears collected condensate without anyone opening a valve, and a round pressure gauge reading in psi. The 600-size bowl is aluminium alloy. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the regulator sets 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans 200, 300, 400 and 600 sizes with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, a choice of differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, 40 um or 5 um filtration, embedded square or external round gauges in MPa, psi or bar scales, and PT, G or NPT threads. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR600 | G-series filter regulator, 600 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 25 | Port size PT1". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| A | Drain: Automatic drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| G | G (BSPP) thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Point-of-use preparation for the air feeding a CNC machining cell's pneumatic clamps and tool-change cylinders: water and airborne particles are filtered down to 5 um while the regulated output holds the clamping circuit at its set pressure.
Conditioning the compressed air line that serves an automotive paint booth's air-driven agitators and spray equipment: the automatic drain clears condensate that collects across shifts and the regulator holds the pressure the booth was commissioned at.
Filtered, regulated air for the pneumatic pushers and stop gates along a bottling line's conveyor section, with the automatic drain handling condensate build-up so the line keeps running without manual drain rounds.
Size and port step up with flow demand: 200, 300, 400 and 600, with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in; this unit is 600 size with a 1 in G-thread. Drain choice: differential-pressure (default), automatic (this unit) or manual - automatic suits points that are not drained by hand on a routine. Filter grade: 40 um standard, 5 um (code W) where finer protection matters; this unit carries 5 um. Gauge: an embedded square gauge is standard and an external round gauge is optional, in MPa, psi or bar scales; this unit has a round psi gauge. Thread: PT is the standard; G (BSPP) and NPT are order options. Bracket: this code (J) omits the mounting bracket; choose a bracket variant if wall or panel fixing is needed. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so send us your flow and pressure requirements and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes GFR flow as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote one number. Send us your required flow and working pressure and we will confirm the figures from the datasheet on request.
The default differential-pressure drain bleeds condensate as the pressure drop across the element rises, and a manual drain (code M) is emptied by hand; this unit's automatic drain (code A) ejects collected condensate on its own, which suits installations not checked daily. Note the setting range depends on drain type: with automatic drain the regulator sets 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), while the manual-drain variant widens the range down to 0.05 MPa (7 psi).
