The AirTAC AirTAC GFR600C25MJF2W Filter Regulator 1 in PT, 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR600C25MJF2W is a size 600 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration has a PT1 (1 in) PT-threaded port, a manual drain bowl in aluminium alloy, a fine 5 um filter element (the W grade, finer than the 40 um standard), an embedded square gauge reading in psi, and the standard regulator with an adjustment range of 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi). No reverse/check valve is fitted and no mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, a choice of drain type, 40 um or 5 um filtration, gauge scale options, and PT, G (BSPP) or NPT threads. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so we confirm datasheet figures on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |

| (blank) | Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |

| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Installed at the head of a 1 in distribution leg serving a production hall, the GFR600C25MJF2W removes water and particles and holds a set pressure for the whole downstream circuit, with the psi gauge giving operators a local reading.
Feeding the air-assist and clamping circuits of a machining centre, the 5 um element protects spool valves and check valves from fine contamination while the regulator keeps clamp force consistent between cycles.
On a bottling or cartoning line with pneumatic pushers and grippers fed from a 1 in header, this unit filters the supply and regulates it so actuators stroke with repeatable force shift after shift; the manual drain is emptied during planned cleaning stops.
Size 600 is the largest GFR frame, with a 1 in port suited to high-demand air lines; step down to 300/400 if your flow requirement is modest, since flow is published as curves rather than a single rating. This unit pairs a manual drain (you drain the bowl by hand on a schedule) with a 5 um element - choose 5 um where downstream valves and cylinders need finer protection, or 40 um for general water and chip removal. The embedded square gauge here reads in psi; MPa and bar scales are also available. Thread is PT as standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT as order options, and this configuration omits the mounting bracket.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes GFR flow as performance curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote a figure here. Tell us your application and we will confirm the flow data from the datasheet on request before you order.
This configuration has a manual drain: moisture collected in the aluminium bowl is released by hand, which suits installations that are inspected on a fixed maintenance schedule. Differential-pressure and automatic drains are available in the same size if you prefer not to rely on manual draining.
