The AirTAC AirTAC GR400-10 Pressure Regulator (GR40010LN) is a genuine G-series air pressure regulator. It holds a stable downstream pressure over the range 0.05 - 0.4 MPa (7 - 58 psi) with PT3/8" ports, ordered without a gauge. A regulator does not filter the air — put a GF filter upstream, or use a GFR filter regulator, when water and particulate must also be removed.
GR40010LN is an AirTAC G-series air pressure regulator in the 400 size, fitted with a 3/8 in PT threaded port. The L marks the low-pressure type, with the regulated outlet set up to 0.4 MPa, suited to circuits that run below the standard GR range. The bracket position is blank in this code, so a mounting bracket is included; the N code means no gauge is fitted, so set pressure is read on a separate gauge. The GR is also panel-mountable.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GR series is offered in 200, 300, 400 and 600 sizes with a choice of PT, G(BSPP) or NPT threads, gauged or gaugeless versions, bracket or bracketless configurations, and an optional reverse/check valve. It runs on compressed air only, works from -20 to 70 C, and maximum working pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi). Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so we confirm the datasheet figures on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. Note the GR temperature range is -20 to +70 °C, wider than the other G-series units. A regulator has no bowl and no filter element, so there is no filtering grade. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GR400 | G-series pressure regulator, 400 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 10 | Port size PT3/8". This body offers 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| L | Low-pressure type — 0.05 - 0.4 MPa (7 - 58 psi). Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Fixing bracket included. |
| N | No pressure gauge (N). |
| (blank) | Gauge shape: Factory standard. C is round, F is square. |
| (blank) | Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, type, bracket, gauge, gauge shape, scale, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GR300-08LNK is a 300 body, PT1/4", low-pressure type, no gauge, with reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure.

Mounted on the bracket at a workshop air drop to hold a low, fixed working pressure for hand-held pneumatic tools and blowlamps.
Used on a maintenance bench to feed low test pressure into trailer brake harness fittings, where the set point stays under 0.4 MPa.
Regulates low-pressure air fed into duct-blowing and cable-pulling rigs on telecom installation sites, panel- or bracket-mounted at the compressor outlet.
Size 400 with a 3/8 in PT port sits in the upper-middle of the GR range; drop to 300 or step to 600 when your flow requirement points to a different port size. As an L-type regulator the outlet is adjustable up to 0.4 MPa, so choose the standard GR for set points above that. This version keeps the mounting bracket (the J code deletes it) and ships without a gauge - order a C or F variant if you need the pressure readable at the unit. Thread is PT as the standard, with G(BSPP) and NPT available to order. AirTAC publishes flow as curves, not a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm sizing against the application before ordering.
Quick checklist
Without a reflux valve, air cannot flow back through the regulator — order the K option if reverse flow is required. A regulator does not remove water or particulate; that is the filter's job.
No. The N code means no gauge is fitted, so read the set pressure on a separate gauge in the circuit. If you want the pressure readable at the unit, order the GR40010LJC1 (round gauge) or GR40010LJF1 (square gauge) variant; this version does include the mounting bracket.
AirTAC publishes GR flow only as characteristic curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your required flow and operating pressures and we will confirm the GR400 datasheet figures and correct port size on request.
