The AirTAC AirTAC GR400-15 Pressure Regulator (GR40015JC3) is a genuine G-series air pressure regulator. It holds a stable downstream pressure over the range 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi) with PT1/2" ports, and ships with a pressure gauge. A regulator does not filter the air — put a GF filter upstream, or use a GFR filter regulator, when water and particulate must also be removed.
The AirTAC GR40015JC3 is a compressed-air pressure regulator from the G series that holds a steady downstream pressure for the equipment fed from it. It filters nothing and lubricates nothing - regulation only. This configuration is the 400 size with PT1/2 threaded ports (PT is the standard thread; G and NPT are catalogue options), fitted with an external round pressure gauge scaled in bar - the natural choice for European-spec machinery - with no bracket (J) and no reverse/check valve. Max inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the setting range is 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi); the medium is compressed air, operating from -20 to 70 C.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GR family is available in 200/300/400/600 sizes for progressively larger ports and flow capacity, with square embedded or external round gauges in MPa/psi/bar scales, a low-pressure type up to 0.4 MPa, panel mounting, and a reverse/check valve option. AirTAC publishes flow and pressure-loss data as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we confirm the datasheet numbers for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. Note the GR temperature range is -20 to +70 °C, wider than the other G-series units. A regulator has no bowl and no filter element, so there is no filtering grade. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GR400 | G-series pressure regulator, 400 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 15 | Port size PT1/2". This body offers 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| (blank) | Standard type — 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 3 | Gauge scale: bar. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, type, bracket, gauge, gauge shape, scale, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GR300-08LNK is a 300 body, PT1/4", low-pressure type, no gauge, with reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure.

Regulates the air feeding air bearings or air tables on laboratory automation equipment, where a clean, stable set pressure in bar is part of the machine specification.
Sets the supply pressure to atomizing-air circuits in a spray finishing booth, keeping the setpoint steady so coating equipment operates to its specified air conditions.
Drops header pressure to the working pressure needed by air tools and test rigs at a plant maintenance station, with a bar-scale gauge matching the tool documentation.
Choose the series size (200/300/400/600) to match the pipe bore and the air your circuit needs; the 400 size with 1/2-inch ports is the larger mid-range step. This C3 variant carries the external round gauge with a bar scale - use JC1 for MPa or JC2 for psi. The standard thread is PT; order G (BSPP) or T (NPT) if your installation uses those standards. J means no mounting bracket is included, and with no K suffix no reverse/check valve is fitted.
Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm the GR400 data against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
Without a reflux valve, air cannot flow back through the regulator — order the K option if reverse flow is required. A regulator does not remove water or particulate; that is the filter's job.
There is no single rated flow figure for the GR series - AirTAC publishes capacity as flow and pressure-loss curves. We will confirm the GR400 curve values against your application's air demand from the datasheet on request.
Only the gauge scale changes: JC3 has the external round gauge scaled in bar, JC1 in MPa and JC2 in psi. Size (400), PT1/2 ports, 0.05-0.9 MPa setting range and standard regulator type are identical across the three.
