The AirTAC AirTAC GR400-15 Pressure Regulator (GR40015JF1K) is a genuine G-series air pressure regulator. It holds a stable downstream pressure over the range 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi) with PT1/2" ports, and ships with a pressure gauge. A regulator does not filter the air — put a GF filter upstream, or use a GFR filter regulator, when water and particulate must also be removed.
The GR40015JF1K is an AirTAC G-series air pressure regulator: pressure regulation only, with no filter bowl and no lubricator. This 400-size unit carries a 1/2 in PT port, an embedded square pressure gauge reading in MPa, and the K code adds a built-in reverse (check) valve. It reduces and holds downstream pressure with a set-point range of 0.05-0.9 MPa. The medium is compressed air, with a maximum working (inlet) pressure of 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and an operating temperature range of -20 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GR series spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600, with a choice of port sizes, square or round external gauges, MPa/psi/bar scales, a low-pressure version and the optional reverse (check) valve fitted on this K model; the J code here means no mounting bracket is fitted, and the body is also panel-mountable. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing and datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

| Fluid | Compressed air |
|---|---|
| Max. working pressure | 1.0 MPa (145 psi) |
| Temperature range | -20 to +70 °C |
| Pressure gauge | Fitted — square, MPa scale |

| Mounting | Panel mounting; optional fixing bracket |
Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. Note the GR temperature range is -20 to +70 °C, wider than the other G-series units. A regulator has no bowl and no filter element, so there is no filtering grade. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GR400 | G-series pressure regulator, 400 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 15 | Port size PT1/2". This body offers 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| (blank) | Standard type — 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 1 | Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, type, bracket, gauge, gauge shape, scale, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GR300-08LNK is a 300 body, PT1/4", low-pressure type, no gauge, with reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure.

Regulating air to a vertical pneumatic cylinder that supports a load, where the fitted reverse (check) valve blocks back-flow at the regulator outlet.
Setting a repeatable clamping pressure on the air cylinder of a bench pneumatic press or workholding fixture, so parts are gripped at the same force every cycle.
Feeding regulated air to the gate and diverter cylinders along a conveyor line, holding a fixed set point despite variation in the main shop-air header.
This is the 400 size in the GR range, with a 1/2 in PT port. Step up to 600 or down to 300/200 to match pipe size and air demand. The set-point range is 0.05-0.9 MPa, and the built-in square gauge reads in MPa; choose GR40015JF3K for a bar-scale gauge or the scale-2 code for psi. Thread is PT as standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT available as catalogue options. The K code specifies that a reverse (check) valve is fitted; the J code means the mounting bracket is not included - request the bracket option if you plan to panel-mount.
Flow for GR regulators is published as curves, not a single rated figure, so we do not quote one number. Tell us your supply pressure, set point and air consumption and we will confirm sizing against the AirTAC datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The reflux valve lets air flow back through the regulator, which is useful when downstream volume must vent quickly. A regulator does not remove water or particulate; that is the filter's job.
AirTAC publishes GR flow data as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote one number. Send us your supply pressure, set point and air demand and we will confirm the sizing and flow figures from the datasheet before you order.
K specifies that a reverse (check) valve is fitted, so flow through the regulator is one-way. Choose the same code without K (GR40015JF1) if you do not need the valve. Everything else is unchanged: 400 size, 1/2 in PT port, 0.05-0.9 MPa set-point range and an embedded square MPa gauge.
