The AirTAC AirTAC GR400-15 Pressure Regulator (GR40015JN) is a genuine G-series air pressure regulator. It holds a stable downstream pressure over the range 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi) with PT1/2" ports, ordered without a gauge. A regulator does not filter the air — put a GF filter upstream, or use a GFR filter regulator, when water and particulate must also be removed.
The GR40015JN is an AirTAC G-series air pressure regulator for compressed air. As a pure GR-series unit it regulates downstream pressure only: there is no filter, no drain bowl and no lubricator in this body. This configuration is the size 400 frame with a PT1/2 (Rc-compatible PT) port, standard pressure range of 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), no gauge fitted (N) and no mounting bracket (J). The JN code is the clean base regulator for panels or machines that already carry their own gauge and bracket.
This is a genuine AirTAC part from the G series, which spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8" to 1". The GR40015JN carries the standard regulator type, a maximum working pressure of 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and an operating temperature of -20 to 70 C. Flow figures are published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us and we will confirm the datasheet numbers for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. Note the GR temperature range is -20 to +70 °C, wider than the other G-series units. A regulator has no bowl and no filter element, so there is no filtering grade. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GR400 | G-series pressure regulator, 400 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 15 | Port size PT1/2". This body offers 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| (blank) | Standard type — 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| N | No pressure gauge (N). |
| (blank) | Gauge shape: Factory standard. C is round, F is square. |
| (blank) | Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, type, bracket, gauge, gauge shape, scale, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GR300-08LNK is a 300 body, PT1/4", low-pressure type, no gauge, with reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure.

Set and hold a fixed downstream pressure to clamp or stamping cylinders on an assembly line, so the tooling closes at the pressure the process was qualified at.
Regulate the atomizing air fed to spray guns in a finishing booth, giving the operator a set pressure point that stays put through the shift.
Feed sealing jaws and hold-down cylinders on a packaging line through this 1/2" regulator so jaw pressure is set once and repeated on every cycle.
Size 400 with a 1/2" port is the mid-large step in the G series: step down to 300/200 for lighter lines or up to 600/1" ports when the main needs more flow. You choose the thread by trailing code: PT is standard here, while G (BSPP) and NPT are orderable catalogue variants. With the N suffix there is no gauge fitted; if you want local pressure readout, pick a code with an embedded square gauge or an external round gauge in MPa, psi or bar scale. The J suffix means you supply your own bracket.
Because GR-series flow is published as curves and not a single rated number, tell us your line conditions and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
Without a reflux valve, air cannot flow back through the regulator — order the K option if reverse flow is required. A regulator does not remove water or particulate; that is the filter's job.
AirTAC publishes GR regulator performance as flow curves rather than one rated figure, and we do not quote a single number. Send us your inlet pressure and target flow and we will confirm the datasheet curve for the GR400 size on request before you order.
The N in GR40015JN means the regulator is supplied without a gauge. If you want pressure readout, order a GR400-15 variant with the embedded square gauge, or with an external round gauge in MPa, psi or bar scale. The J suffix also means no mounting bracket is included; omit it to get the bracket.
