With a flat-end U back cover and a 450 mm stroke, this double-acting MAC16X450SU mini cylinder cushions at both ends so faster cycles do not hammer the covers. Push is 100.5 N at 0.5 MPa (140.7 N at 0.7 MPa), enough to lift about 5 kg vertically once you halve the 10 kg theoretical figure for a 2:1 margin.
The stainless tube and hard-chrome plated rod cope with damp, dusty or lightly washed-down spots where painted minis corrode. A magnet comes built in as standard - CMSG, DMSG and EMSG switches drop straight on. Operating range 0.15-1.0 MPa (22-145 psi), proof 1.5 MPa (215 psi).

This is the smallest bore AirTAC makes in the series; when 100.5 N at 0.5 MPa is not enough, the next size up is bore 20 at 157 N push. Keep in mind the rod will drift when the valve centres - air is not trapped, so add a rod lock or check valve for suspended loads. With 450 mm of travel, brace or guide the load to protect the 6 mm rod from side bending.
The U flat end takes a fixed mount directly; add FA flange or LB foot hardware where the frame demands it. Port thread comes as PT (blank) with G and NPT options on the M5x0.8 connections.
