Long travel does not have to mean a bulky actuator: the MAC32X450SU delivers 402.2 N at 0.5 MPa across 450 mm from a 32 mm stainless round body. Double acting by design, it retracts under air as well - pull force is 345.6 N at the same pressure - and the needle-adjustable cushion at each end lets you tune deceleration to the load.
