Sizing check at 0.5 MPa push: 25 mm bore = 245.3 N, this 32 mm bore = 402.2 N, 40 mm bore = 628.3 N. If your actuator needs more than roughly 240 N of sustained work or lifts more than about 20 kg vertically, step to the 40 mm bore rather than running this one near its limit. Also note that when the valve centres or air is lost, the piston simply drifts - specify a rod lock or a pilot check valve where position must survive power loss.
