About the Airtac MAC Stainless Steel Mini Air Cylinder MAC40X150SU
With 880 N available at 0.7 MPa and a cushion at each end, MAC40X150SU is the flat-end member of the 40 mm MAC family, sized for 150 mm of travel. Its stainless tube and 20 um hard-chrome rod handle splash zones and outdoor duty better than anodised or painted minis, and the riveted cover build keeps everything sealed.
The U flat-end cover simplifies nose or face mounting straight to a plate. Run speeds anywhere in the 30-800 mm/s band, then trim the variable cushions so the load decelerates instead of hammering. A sensible ceiling is about 377 N of push at 0.5 MPa for continuous duty - above that, move up a bore. Sensing is covered out of the crate by the standard magnet and any CMSG, DMSG or EMSG switch.
