Longer than typical guard strokes but still a compact round body, the MAC50X290SCA covers 290 mm of travel with 50 mm of bore. It is double acting, so air does the work in both directions - 981.3 N out at 0.5 MPa, 880.8 N back - while the variable cushion at each end absorbs the impact of fast or heavy motion. Its riveted stainless barrel and hard-chrome plated rod tolerate washdown, humidity and outdoor exposure far better than painted minis.
For sizing, remember that only about 589 N should be treated as dependable working force at 0.5 MPa - six tenths of the push rating. Suspended vertically the rod carries close to 100 kg, or around 50 kg once a 2:1 margin is applied.
