A rounded CM back cover, the maximum standard 500 mm stroke and bore 50 muscle: this MAC50X500SCM pushes 981.3 N and pulls 880.8 N at 0.5 MPa, with a variable air cushion softening both ends of the long travel. The round lug on the rear cover accepts a pivot pin straight away, which suits swinging chutes, ramps and linkage arms on moving frames.
Under the skin sits a stainless barrel rolled together with aluminium covers, and a carbon-steel rod plated with 20 um of hard chrome - a combination that survives coolant mist, condensation and outdoor weather.
