How to choose
Bore sets thrust: a 6 mm bore gives 14.1 N push (10.6 N pull) in double-acting use at 0.5 MPa; step up to 16 mm (100.5 N) for more force. MD is the standard family where rod rotation is acceptable; MK prevents rotation. Acting choices are double acting (MD/MDD/MDJ), single-push (MSD/MSK), single-pull (MTD/MTK) and adjustable stroke (MDJ/MKJ, adding 10/20/30 mm). Strokes for bore 6 run up to 35 mm double acting, and the short cover cautions against an over-long stroke - this 5 mm stroke is well within range.
