Airtac MDD Multi-position Double Rod Cylinder MDD25X25S

The MDD25X25S is an AirTAC MD-series multi-mount cylinder: a compact square body that can be fixed from 6 directions (front, back, left, right, top and bottom) and mounted side by side with other cylinders to save space. This version is double acting with a double rod, so the piston rod extends from both ends of the body - useful for synchronized action on two sides or driving a workpiece from either end. At the 25 mm bore the theoretical thrust is 245.4 N at 0.5 MPa on the full-piston side and 206.2 N on the rod side, with cushioning provided by a bumper. Running on air filtered to 40 um, it handles 0.15-1.0 MPa (22-145 psi), speeds of 30-500 mm/s and -20 to 70 C.

This is a genuine AirTAC part from the standard MD family (not the no-rotating MK family). The trailing S in the model code means this SKU carries a built-in magnet for magnetic-switch detection. Dimensions are stroke-specific, so we confirm exact sizing from the AirTAC datasheet on request.
