Why does this bore 25 cylinder show 206.2 N instead of 245.4 N at 0.5 MPa?
On the MDD double rod series a rod passes through both covers, so the effective area on each side is the reduced annular area, about 206.2 N per side at 0.5 MPa. The 245.4 N piston-side figure applies to single-rod MD cylinders of the same bore.
Are there limits on how long the stroke can be?
For bore 25 double acting, strokes run up to 60 mm, and the short cover design means very long strokes are best avoided on this compact body. Exact envelope dimensions depend on stroke, so confirm them from the datasheet, and route any side-load requirements to us.
