The barrel is SUS304 stainless steel riveted to the covers, so the body shrugs off damp air, light washdown and outdoor duty far better than painted-steel minis, while the hard-chrome plated 10 mm rod keeps wear low.
In practice the 245.3 N push converts to roughly 25 kgf, so planning for about 12 kg of vertical lifting keeps a comfortable margin on a real part.
