About the Airtac MG Stainless Steel Mini Air Cylinder MG25X50
Compact and washdown-friendly, the MG25X50 delivers 245.3 N of push force at 0.5 MPa (343.4 N at 0.7 MPa) from a 25 mm bore over a short 50 mm stroke. This double acting JIS round-body mini cylinder uses a riveted SUS304 stainless barrel with a hard-chrome plated 10 mm rod, so it shrugs off damp, dusty and lightly corrosive surroundings where painted minis corrode. The fixed anti-impact bumper pads at each end soften direction changes; they decelerate the stroke end only and are not an adjustable air cushion.
Because the footprint follows the JIS mini-cylinder standard, the MG25X50 drops onto standard JIS brackets and I or Y rod knuckles, which makes spares and retrofits simple. At 0.5 MPa the push force works out to roughly 25 kgf, so for a 2:1 vertical margin plan on lifting about 12 kg per cylinder.
