The double acting design moves the rod out and back on air alone, running at 30-800 mm/s across 0.15-1.0 MPa (22-145 psi). A fixed anti-impact bumper pad at each stroke end softens direction changes - it decelerates only and is not an adjustable air cushion.
The body is a riveted round barrel of SUS304 stainless steel with a hard-chrome plated 12 mm rod, so it shrugs off damp, washdown and outdoor conditions that corrode painted mini cylinders. At 402.2 N push at 0.5 MPa, the MG32X175 sits mid-range: step down to the MG25 (245.3 N) for lighter clamping, or up to the MG40 (628.3 N) when the load grows. If high speeds or heavy loads need adjustable deceleration, the cushioned MGC in larger bores is the upgrade path. Remember that a plain MG drifts when air is lost - add an external rod lock or pilot check valve where a load must stay put. Mount it with LB foot, FA flange, CB clevis or SDB pivot brackets, and add the S magnet code if position sensing is planned.
