With the largest bore in the MG range, the MG40X350 delivers 628.3 N of push and 527.8 N of pull at 0.5 MPa (rising to 879.6 N at 0.7 MPa) across a 350 mm stroke, all in a compact double acting round body built to the JIS mini-cylinder standard. The riveted SUS304 stainless barrel shrugs off washdown and damp air far better than painted-steel minis, while the hard-chrome plated 16 mm rod keeps wear low over long travels.
At 0.5 MPa the realistic working push is roughly 377 N, which means this cylinder lifts about 32 kg vertically with a 2:1 margin, or around 19 kg if you halve the rating for safety. The fixed anti-impact bumper pad at each stroke end softens direction changes at speeds up to 800 mm/s, but it is a decelerator only, not an adjustable air cushion, and it never holds a load: if air is lost the rod drifts, so add an external rod lock or a pilot check valve where holding matters.

This SKU carries no magnet, so CMSG, DMSG or EMSG switches cannot be fitted; order the S version for sensing. At 350 mm of travel, keep side loads off the 16 mm rod and guide the workpiece externally to avoid rod bending.
