The AirTAC MGC25X125 is a double acting, JIS-standard round-body mini cylinder with a 25 mm bore and 125 mm stroke, fitted with a variable air cushion at both stroke ends. Unlike the bumper-style MG, the cushion needles can be adjusted to decelerate the piston smoothly near end of travel, so this cylinder tolerates higher piston speeds and heavier moving loads without hammering the covers. At 0.5 MPa it delivers 245.3 N push and 206.1 N pull, rising to 343.4 N push at 0.7 MPa, with a theoretical maximum of 50 kgf at 1.0 MPa.
Construction follows the MG family recipe: a SUS304 stainless barrel with covers and stainless block riveted and rolled onto it, plus a hard-chrome plated (20 um) carbon-steel rod and a two-way piston seal that also stores lubricant.
