The AirTAC MGC40X150 is a double acting, JIS-standard round-body mini cylinder with a 40 mm bore and 150 mm stroke, fitted with a variable air cushion at both stroke ends. Unlike the bumper-style MG, the cushion needles are adjustable, so you can dial in smooth deceleration near end of travel when the piston runs fast or carries a heavier moving load. At 0.5 MPa it delivers 628.3 N of push force and 527.8 N of pull, rising to 879.6 N push at 0.7 MPa, with a theoretical maximum of 128.1 kgf at 1.0 MPa. Air pressure spans 0.15 to 1.0 MPa (22 to 145 psi) and piston speed runs 30 to 800 mm/s.
Construction follows the JIS mini-cylinder pattern: a SUS304 stainless barrel with covers and stainless block riveted and rolled onto it, plus a hard-chrome plated (20 um) carbon-steel rod and a two-way piston seal that also stores lubricant.
