The AirTAC MGCD20X150 is a double acting, double rod JIS round-body mini cylinder with a 20 mm bore and 150 mm stroke. Because a hard-chrome 8 mm rod exits both covers with the same M8x1.25 male thread at each end, both sides of the piston see the rod-side area, so the output force is equal in both directions: about 131.9 N each way at 0.5 MPa and 184.7 N at 0.7 MPa, with a theoretical maximum of 26.9 kgf at 1.0 MPa. Unlike the bumper-equipped MGD, this variant carries a variable air cushion at both ends, so the piston decelerates smoothly into each cover instead of striking a fixed pad, allowing higher travel speeds and heavier loads without hard stops. The rear rod end can also carry a stop flag, position flag or a second light load.
