The AirTAC MGCD20X300 is a double acting, double-rod JIS round-body mini cylinder with a 20 mm bore and a 300 mm stroke, the maximum standard stroke for this bore. Because a rod exits both covers with the same M8x1.25 male thread at each end, both sides of the piston see the rod-side area, so the output force is equal in both directions: about 131.9 N at 0.5 MPa and 184.7 N at 0.7 MPa, with a theoretical maximum of 26.9 kgf at 1.0 MPa. A variable air cushion at both ends lets you tune the deceleration for smooth, high-speed stops, while the through-rod resists rotation and gives you a rear rod end for a stop flag or a second load.
