A 10 mm rod exits each cover with the same M10x1.25 male thread, so the rod-side area is effective in both directions and the output force is equal either way: about 206.1 N at 0.5 MPa and 288.5 N at 0.7 MPa, with a theoretical maximum of 42 kgf at 1.0 MPa. The adjustable cushion decelerates the piston smoothly at each end of the 150 mm stroke, letting you run higher speeds or carry heavier loads without hard metal-to-metal stops, while the through-rod resists rotation and gives you a rear rod end for a stop flag or a second load.
