Because a 10 mm hard-chrome rod exits both covers with the same M10x1.25 male thread at each end, the effective area is the rod-side area in both directions, so the output force is equal either way: about 206.1 N at 0.5 MPa and 288.5 N at 0.7 MPa, with a theoretical maximum of 42 kgf at 1.0 MPa. At the realistic working load of roughly 0.6 of the push force, that supports about 12 kgf, or a safe vertical load of about 10 kg. Each end carries a variable air cushion, adjustable with a needle to decelerate the piston smoothly, so this 25 mm cylinder can run at higher speeds or carry heavier loads than an unbuffered mini cylinder without hard metal-to-cover stops.
