The AirTAC MGCD25X350 is a double acting, double-rod JIS round-body mini cylinder with a 25 mm bore and a 350 mm stroke. A hard-chrome rod exits both covers with the same M10x1.25 male thread at each end, so the piston-side and rod-side areas are identical and the output force is equal in both directions: about 206.1 N at 0.5 MPa and 288.5 N at 0.7 MPa (theoretical maximum 42 kgf at 1.0 MPa). Both ends carry a variable air cushion, so the adjustable orifice decelerates the piston smoothly at each end of the long 350 mm travel, allowing higher speeds and heavier moving loads than an un cushioned cylinder. The rear rod end also gives you a second working surface for a stop, flag or second light load.
Built to the JIS mini-cylinder footprint, the MGCD25X350 uses a riveted SUS304 stainless barrel with a hard-chrome plated carbon-steel rod for corrosion resistance and long seal life, and a two-way lubricant-storing piston seal.
